Day by Day
Day 1Scenic (and bumpy) drive from Kathmandu to Syabrubesi at the valley mouth.
Days 2–3Climb through oak and bamboo forest via Lama Hotel to rebuilt Langtang village.
Day 4Short stage to Kyanjin Gompa; afternoon at the monastery and the famous cheese factory.
Day 5Dawn ascent of Kyanjin Ri for the full glacier amphitheatre, rest and bakery afternoon.
Days 6–7Two long descending days back to Syabrubesi and the drive home to Kathmandu.
